Summer With A Difference - Pathways July 2020 Update

The weather has been pretty good today and we are heading in to an end-of-July heatwave, so with that in mind let's chill with the Pathways July update.

Covid-19 Mandatory Training

It truly has been an unique time for much of 2020, with virtually all non-essential business shutting down for a period of time. As the UK begins finding it's way back to some level of normality, it is important to take note of safety and security processes that have been put in place both for our own protection, and for those customers, tenants and visitors that we serve.

It is therefore imperative that we all complete key training modules to ensure we are doing everything as safely and securely as possible. There is a mandatory module on MyLearning on Covid-19 employee guidance and ensuring our safety. If you have not yet completed this please do so as a matter of urgency by clicking here

Furthermore it is also important to complete the Returning to the Office e-learning piece too, which can be found by clicking here

Health & Safety Update

The lingering aftermath of Covid-19 has unfortunately affected our ability to deliver face-to-face courses for the foreseeable future. But that doesn't mean we're not here to support you in training you may need from us.

Much of our essential Health & Safety training (including Legionella, Asbestos, Permit to Work and Fire Warden training) has been converted to online webinar format, conducted through Microsoft Teams, which you can book yourself onto as required (places are limited per session) via the webinar calendar at the bottom of the main page of MyLearning (link here) or making a request for dates to There are also Health & Safety modules on Enterprise Online Learning portal (click for the site) which you should ensure is reviewed regularly to keep your knowledge to the highest level.

Remote Working Toolkit

As well as affecting our ability to train face-to-face, Covid-19 has massively changed the working world at large. With more people working from home (or remotely) than ever before, and this likely to continue to be the new normal for many of us (at least some of the time), being able to support and manage teams from afar has never been more important.

To this end, the Remote Working Toolkit has been introduced to maximise our knowledge and understanding of how to support, manage and motivate our colleagues when working at a distance. Covering communication techniques, resolving common issues with home-working and theories around how best to operate, this two-hour session will give you an insight into how best to work remotely. If you have an interest in undertaking this session, please email for more information.
